Organic Ashwagandha powder
Ashwagandha Withania somnifera, often called “Indian ginseng” or “winter cherry”, has been used in Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest systems of holistic healing, for more than 3000 years. It thrives in dry regions of India, the Middle East and parts of Africa. Its name ashwagandha is derived from the Sanskrit ‘ashwa’ meaning ‘horse’ and ‘gandha’ meaning ‘scent’, perhaps referring to the strong smell of the root, believed to give vitality and horse power.
Ashwagandha is highly revered in Ayurveda and is used for health problems. The root of the plant is the most important part of the plant and is commonly used in various compositions to improve health.
