They are often used as an appetizer, added to smoothies, baked goods or used in savoury dishes such as tagine and salads.<\/p>\n<p>Although there is no strict dose, it is recommended to eat 3-5 dates a day to achieve optimal benefits for the body without excessive sugar intake.<\/p>\n<p>Dried dates are a tasty addition to breakfast porridges, smoothies, pancakes and baked goods.
