Its seeds have been used in traditional medicine for more than 2 000 years to improve health. The ancient Greeks and Romans valued it for detoxification and digestive support.<br \/>\nThe seeds are small, brown and slightly glossy, and are often harvested for their unique flavour and oil. Traditionally, they were crushed or ground and added to food or brewed as tea.<br \/>\nToday, the seeds are sometimes used in cooking and snacking.<\/p>\n<p>Use: can be ground and added to salads, breakfast cereals, smoothies, smoothies or as herbal tea.<\/p>\n<p>To make the tea, add 1 teaspoon of ground marjoram (about 6 g) to a glass of water, pour over a glass of boiling water, cover and leave to steep for 15 minutes.
