Organic dried sea vegetables DULSE (flakes)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The product is made from the edible seaweed Dulse (Palmaria palmata). Seaweed of European origin, dehydrated and crushed. Raw seaweed is dehydrated at low temperatures.<\/p>\n

Preparation: this product must be prepared in advance by rehydrating it in water for 5 minutes (their dried mass quadruples).
\nServing: can be used in salads, pickled. Also as a garnish and as an ingredient in soups, stews, cakes, rice and pasta.
\nFor: general public, except infants and young children. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.<\/p>\n

Features:
\n– Low in fat.
\n– Without sugar.
\n– High in fibre.
\n– Source of protein.
\n– Taste and smell: similar to crustaceans; no more extraneous taste or smell.
\n– Texture: cartilaginous.
\n– Appearance: red seaweed.<\/p>\n

Guideline: intake of an average adult (8400 kJ\/2000 kcal).<\/p>\n

Approximately 1 g of dehydrated seaweed and 12 g of this hydrated seaweed contain 150 \u03bcg of iodine (NRV according to Regulation EU1169\/2011)<\/p>\n

Recipe – Vegetable soup and sea vegetables DULSE<\/strong>
\nIngredients
\n<\/em>– 1 L vegetable broth
\n– 100 g chives
\n– 150 g leeks
\n– 90 g carrots
\n– 4 Swiss chard leaves
\n– 100 g courgettes
\n– 10 g dehydrated DULSE
\n– a dash of olive oil<\/p>\n

Preparation<\/em>
\n– wash and finely chop the vegetables;
\n– lightly fry the ingredients in oil in the following order: chives, leek, carrot, chard leaves and dehydrated sea vegetables DULSE;
\n– pour in the stock and cook for about 12 minutes;
\n– add the courgettes at the end and cook for 3 minutes;
\n– Serve on a deep plate or in a bowl.<\/p>\n
